Party!

This is my 2nd year participating in the Where Bloggers Create Party! It's so much fun checking out the other blogs.

My space is in our basement. It is small, but it works. I wish I had natural light and a sink. Maybe one day!

Right now I am into journaling and creating mixed media paintings. Some of my work is in a gallery in Hinsdale, IL where it is for sale. I clean up when the mess becomes too much for me to take, but it quickly becomes messy!

Max, my Havanese, keeps me company whenever I come down here. He was rescued from a puppy mill & is a fabulous man!

    Max is so beautiful! You are fortunate to have a space for crafting! Usually when the kids and I travel to the State for the summer, we hang out in Schaumburg for a few days. Haven't been back in a couple of years. Thanks for sharing your space and have a great weekend. :) Tammy

    I also think Max is adorable and it seems we all like that blue cart too!!! I know what you mean about the studio getting messy fast! I have a hard time working in chaos so I have to clean up alot!!! Thanks so much for joining the party!

    Great space! I love that hutch you're using. It looks like you've got everything set up in such an organized manner. I totally understand about the messes. I feel like I just clean up my space and then I start another project and it's messy again! I'm in a condo so I have no window either, but I'm just so happy to have an actual room now {the last two years I had a small spot in our garage!}.

    Your space looks nice and bright...I was surprised when you said it was in the basement! I love your IKEA cart...I bought one too. Mine is gray. Great idea to use it in your craft space.

    I also have a Max but her name is Gracie...Our common bond is the basement but mine is just a little below floor level I have two large windows which helps alot with working...Your space is darling and well thought out. Love it.

    Very cool space for being in teh basement, and you have lots of good room to spread out on. I like your two pieces (the grey cabinet in the corner and the little blue cart). Max is too cute : )

    It always amazes me when I find.. through a blog .... that someone is my "neighbor"! I can only imagine that we have crossed paths in a shop, at a Starbucks... you get the picture!
